Mystical Understanding of the Service Circle Ceremony
Visualizations that build the Sanctuary Invoked during the Service Circle Ceremony
The overall visualization is of building a cosmic sanctuary of light of cosmic proportions and which over-arches the whole Earth or even further.
The effect of the sanctuary is that all prayers, blessings and intentions of goodwill, which are sent into it, are first etherealized in the process of being amplified and attuned to their highest expression as they join within the Unity of the Divine. Then they become catalyzed by divine Mercy and Compassion and are manifested with the help of the angelic hosts, as they flow forth, according to the Divine Purpose - reaching far and wide, achieving their intention in whatever way is possible according to the situation. This is not a personal ‘willful’ effort – no, it is an offering of service for “Thy Will to be done” in specific situations called forth by thy children.
1. As we join our hands and feel our feet grounded, we are forming the strong and lasting bricks and mortar of the base of the sanctuary and we solidly ground it to Mother Earth.
2. As we open and join hearts we form an all-embracing container or accommodation which is the vessel and ascending walls and flying buttresses of the sanctuary reaching up from Earth toward the Heavens.
3. As we join our souls in the Unity of God or the One Reality, we form the highest arches of the sanctuary extending up from our fontanels or crown centers, first uniting with each other and then uniting in one all-pervading point that is called the Universel. Thus connecting Earth to Heaven and Heaven to Earth.
4. This completes the building of the sanctuary on the inner planes – we then affirm and thus instantiate the sanctuary in the elemental ethers and concretize its connection from Earth to Heaven. In this moment of joining, the sanctity and power of the sanctuary is made manifest for the work of service to God and all beings.
