Individual Service Circle Ceremony

This a group practice I've modified so it can also be used as an individual practice.  It has the power to reach far and wide.

It is a collective attunement formed by linking with the Sister-Brotherhood of Illuminated Souls to build an accommodation or sanctuary for the service and blessing of all beings. The temple herein created overarches the whole Earth and becomes an amplifier of the blessings, prayers and well-wishes placed within it.

 Pir-O-Murshid Inayat Khan says of such an accommodation:

“Thus accommodation is not only a need but it is indispensable; nothing can be born, composed, constructed, or molded without its accommodation. The Sufis have called this accommodation the temple…”

Build the temple or sanctuary by visualizing and Invoking the following:

1.      In the One, United with all the Illuminated Souls, We Hold Aloft the Light of Truth.   (feel yourself connecting with all the illuminated souls)

2.      Together we join our hands of service with each other and with all beings of service;

3.      Together we join our hearts of compassion with each other and with all beings of compassion;

4.      Together we join our souls in the Unity of God;

5.      And with this joining form a universal temple for the service and blessing of all beings.

Note: At this point one feels the sanctuary over the whole Earth reaching from the highest heavens.

6.      Pause now to offer your prayers, thoughts, invocations, and wishes intended to be blessings for others, for the world, and for service to humanity and all beings.

7.      End by saying  “As God Wills” or Inshallah and then reciting:

8.      “Send Thy Peace, O Lord, our Father and Mother, that we Thy children on Earth may all unite in one Family.”
