The Mystic Heart
What is the Mystic heart?
The Mystic Heart (Sirri) is an ocean of Divine Life and Love,
that carries us beyond the shores of birth & death, time & space, I & thou
and bestows upon us the realization of Truth. (Ya Huk - Ya Mawjud)
What we call the individual heart (Qalb) is the surface of our Soul (Ruh), and our Soul is a ray of light and life within the Divine Ocean of the One Reality, Allah.
How do we find our mystic Heart?
Only through surrender to that divine ocean of love, light and mercy that is within us every moment.
This is accomplished through proper repetition of Dhikr:
"Truth is a divine inheritance found in the depth of every human heart." [Inayat Khan, Sayings, Bola 8]
“And bring your Lord to remembrance in your [very] soul, with humility and remember without loudness in words, in the mornings and evenings” [Qur'an 7:205]
Verily in the remembrance of God do hearts find rest." [Qur'an 13:28]
